And I mean anything. Have at it.

It’s a really slow night at work (drugstore open til 10pm but not the pharmacy which closed at 6pm, wtf right?) and I’m dying of boredom with the cashier.

On the homefront, things are swell. The Dart is doing splendidly and I’m compiling a small list of mods/upgrades for it. Looking forward to school this fall and getting back on track, plus learning a language. Either German or Italian, still deciding.

At the top is what my next/second/pseudo-project car will most likely be in a few years. LGT/OXT wagon with WRX upgrades, or possibly a Magnum if I want a tire shredding V8 with Charger Pursuit upgrades. Might paint whatever it ends up being grey or dark blue/blurple if not WR blue.

Oh, and if you see this Nibby. Get weird.

I honestly love it and I never even intended to buy one. I was originally looking at G8s, mid-00s Outback XTs/Legacy GTs, and and the TL Type-S. It handles pretty well, which is helped by the factory suspension upgrades you get with the Rallye trim. Definitely doesn’t feel like 3000lbs of fun. Puts a smile on my face everyday.

A little Mopar enthusiast outfit called Deyeme Racing makes a milled aluminum bracket that attaches at pre existing holes in the bumper. Looks a hell of a lot better than OEM front plate mounts.

If you had like 300 grand to spend on 6 cars, what would you buy? You need a DD, a tow-rig, and an off-roader, the rest are just for fun. New or used.

Assuming that I can drop $300K on 6 cars, I can deal with gas for whatever.

DD: Volvo S60/V60 Polestar (only in Rebel Blue/SRG) ~$62K

Tow Vehicle: Ram 1500 ~$53K

Off-road/Overland: Toyota Land Cruiser (used, older series) ~$30K guessing when all upgraded

Other 1: 1970 Chevelle SS ~$35K already restored

Other 2: 3rd gen WRX wagon with upgrades all around ~$30K

Other 3: Probably an old 911 or japanese car to go nuts on for a track toy ~$40K (max)

Honorable mention goes to the Charger Hellcat. Almost added it but I prefer the Polestar as a DD and the other ones are cars I'd genuinely like to own. Besides a big pickup, with those I prefer smaller. Mainly the Colorado which I would have picked if we knew the towing specs for the diesel that's coming next year.

I drove the Hellcat. It was underwhelming. I am excited for the Colorado though. Thinking I may shuffle some cars around and pick one up when it comes out.

You’re the only person I’ve seen say that about the Hellcat. My thought is that it has too much power for the street which is why I want a polestar. Practical while still being a ton of fun.

I drove a base Colorado and a loaded Canyon, you’d definitely want a small diesel or the V6. Personally I want a quad cab, long bed Colorado with the V6 and some off-road goodies when good parts/builds start popping up, in blue or dark green.

Yeah, it’s not a popular opinion. I was looking for a DD though, and it was just kind of tough to manage on the street. I ended up with a CTS V-Sport. Should have bought the SS, but oh well.

I’m waiting for the diesel. I drove a manual Colorado stripper with the little engine, and it kind of sucked, but I have high hopes for the diesel. Just depends on how much it tows.

The V-Sport is still very respectable, a fine choice. I would have gotten an SS as well but I’d love either.

Know what you mean about the Coloranyon twins, the more goodies you get the better it gets. The base isn’t very dailyable imo, but a Z71/Allterrain package makes its very nice. I’m pretty excited for the diesel and hope it gets a serious off-road option.
